Coaching for organisations

Helping HR teams carry the load with specialist, targeted coaching.

Give your people an independant thinking partner.

Some conversations are hard to have with a manager or HR.

Someone may be finding their feet in a new role. Preparing for greater responsibility. Returning after time away. Or trying to work through something they aren’t ready to share inside the business.

I provide confidential coaching for employees and leaders, with clear boundaries agreed before we start.

As a former Chief People Officer, I understand what it takes to support people while keeping the business moving.

Support at the point it is needed.

Coaching can form part of your development offer or be available as an employee benefit.

We can focus on:

  • People joining the business or moving into a new role.

  • Managers learning to lead through others.

  • Future leaders preparing for succession.

  • People taking on a promotion or greater responsibility.

  • Colleagues returning after time away.

  • Individuals who need space to work through a challenge at work.

Alongside individual coaching, I can work with managers and teams on the conversations that support better day-to-day work: goals, priorities, commitments and honest assessments of what is happening.

“He has the ability to find the mental model or analogy that makes a seemingly complex or nebulous idea suddenly make sense. Whenever I was struggling with something, he would find just the right way of expressing it to me so it would ‘click’.”

Connor Goddard, VP Engineering

How it works

The arrangement needs to work for your organisation. The coaching relationship needs to be trusted by the individual.

Trust comes first

Paying for someone’s coaching does not give an employer access to the conversation.

I do not share session content or provide feedback to the employer about what an individual has said.

Confidentiality and its exceptions are set out in the coaching agreement. We discuss the boundaries before the work starts.

People need to know where they stand before they can speak openly.

Coaching-as-a-service

An ongoing relationship gives your business access to a coach who understands its context and remains independent.

We agree: who can use coaching, how they access it and how much time to make available.

I work face to face at your premises, in an agreed private venue or on walks where appropriate.

Getting started

First, we talk about your people and the problem you want to address.

Then we agree the scope, fee, access arrangements and confidentiality boundaries. We make the offer clear so people understand what coaching is for and how to use it.

Coaching can be billed on a pp/mo or on a day rate of 4 coaching slots per day.

What would useful support look like in your business?

Connect your people decisions to the business direction.

What capabilities should you build? Who do you need to hire? Which behaviours should you recognise?

These decisions are easier when leaders share a clear view of where the business is going.

>> Wayfinder brings your leadership team together to agree the direction, priorities and behaviours that will support it. We capture these in a clear story and a visual guide people can use.

For HR, that provides a practical basis for shaping roles, hiring, onboarding, development and performance conversations.
